On Tuesday, June 26, 2018, Pulford’s recycling crew did a ½ hour presentation on recycling to a number of students from the Elementary School in the town of Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
The crew shared with the young students what is and what is not recyclable and the type of things made from recycled items, such as reusable bags, t-shirts and the roads we drive on.
The children were then escorted outside to see a little demonstration on how the curbside pickup is completed. Overall, a good time was had by all as well as an understanding of the importance of recycling and how we each play a big role in keeping our world green.
