Our 2nd annual garage sale fundraising event last weekend was a smashing success. Even with the threat of rain, hundreds of people came out to go through the many wares we had on display. Clothing, toys, books, furniture, local food were all for sale during our event. And beyond that we had fun activities for families like face painting and glitter tattoos from Gingerbread Kids Boutique, a bouncy castle from Braden Hill of Hill's Thrills, and a very cool opportunity to interact with some scaly critters from the good people at Fraser Reptiles. Our hotdogs were cooked by the always helpful All Saints Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg.
Pulford was able to raise nearly $1,200 which doubled our efforts from last year. We owe a big thank you to all who came out and purchased items, every volunteer who helped things run smoothly and to Glenwood Community Centre for being such a great and accommodating host. We are already looking ahead to next year’s event and will be sure to update you when we have more information to share.
