Catherine comes to us from a distinguished 24-year career with the Government of Manitoba, where she served most recently as Deputy Minister for Housing, Addictions and Homelessness. Prior to that, Catherine spent most of her career in the Department of Families, including serving as Assistant Deputy Minister with responsibility for Community Living disABILITY Services. In these roles, Catherine has gained tremendous insight into the nature of what Pulford does, and how we support people.
Catherine holds Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Public Administration degrees. The combination of her education and extensive human services leadership experience makes her a perfect fit for Pulford. In addition, we know Catherine to be a positive and inspiring leader, and a great communicator who will build strong relationships with the people supported by Pulford, their families and our staff.
Catherine has this to say about her new role. “I am delighted to join the talented and dedicated Pulford team in providing residential and support services to empower people to pursue their dreams and lead self-directed lives. Together, we will build upon the strong foundation at Pulford, furthering our shared values of dignity, safety, respect and integrity.”
We are very fortunate to have someone with Catherine’s experience and abilities joining us. We are confident that the future for Pulford looks bright. Welcome to Pulford Catherine!
