On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, the Pulford community was saddened by the sudden loss of Robert (Bob) Beattie.  He is mourned by his family and the Pulford community having moved in with his roommates back in October 2002.  Bob was active in various Special Olympics sports from bowling, to hockey, track and field, as well as some Thai Chi; Bob was into it all – including dancing to ABBA at any time of day or night.  Bob worked at Versatech for 35 years and retired in 2010.  Subsequently, Bob enjoyed his days by going to the duck pond at St. Vital Park, visiting his friends at other Pulford homes, and catching up with his family for visits, dinners, and holidays.  Bob loved seeing his friends and team smile and will be missed by many people. We ask you all to remember the great times you had with Bob over the years and that contagious smile of his.
